I'm completely with them, Maybe Bush is going out of his way to avoid more casualites than needed, but he should have avoided the war all together. They didn't need us to go in there and free them, they were very close to doing it them selves. American as a country really needs to learn how to stay out of other country's buisness.

I cannot believe you can yourselves Incubus fans!!! The person who had the nerve to post an actual site to read an interview of Brandon Boyd supposedly clarifying that the song and video to "Megalomaniac" were referring to the comparison of our president and Hitler should read that article again. In his EXACT words: "I don't really like to explain exactly what lyrics are about, because that sort of undermines the intelligence of the listeners: Should they be so inclined to want to interpret it on their own, I'd love to give them that chance." Did that say one thing about President George W. Bush? Congrats on taking that chance he gave you to completely undermine his own intelligence and slap him right back in the face with your hateful, judgmental words. It seems that any reference to politics immediately goes to a discussion on the United States' involvement with Iraq and Sadam Heissan. Maybe you could open up your ignorant minds for two seconds to think that he could be talking about something other than that. We're letting our minds be completely consumed by what we here on the news EVERY DAY. Music videos allow moderately-famous bands to reach out to lazy couch-potatoes with their music. They need love too. In my opinion, the world would be a better place without the stupid videos. Then, we wouldn’t be arguing about this. Yes, Hitler was in the video and some things shown were questionable. They’re just meant to be eye-catching, not insulting. Let me confront another issue while I’m at it. STOP OBSESSING OVER BRANDON AND CAROLYN’S RELATIONSHIP!!! It’s none of you business! Just because you’re jealous doesn’t mean that they can’t be happy and/or have relationship composed of some sort of normalcy, i.e., privacy from crazed fans. It’s great that Incubus does hold a normal amount of sex appeal. I’m lot going to lie to you; Brandon is one of the most attractive men known to music. But when and where did that become more important than the music? When and where was it stated and outlawed for celebrities to have intelligent opinions of their own? You people are being completely and utterly hypocritical. You’re allowed to post insane messages on a website that can be accessed by anyone with internet around the world, and, just because of whom he is, he can’t use his rights of free speech and say what he feels? I’ve never seen nor met an Incubus fan that could remotely relate to a zombie-like teenybopper; it’s not like people our going to rally in front of the White House and set sh** on fire just because Brandon Boyd might or might not have a problem with our nation and who’s in charge of it today. Anyway, to sum it all up, RELAX!!! You guys are paying way to much attention to detail. ‘Megalomaniac’ is a great song. Get over it. (And who the f**k would ever compare Elvis Presley, the King of Rock and Roll, to George W. Bush!!! Get serious.)

I don't think that the song was written about Bush, but about a bassplayer that they knew. The video just takes the concept of the song and applies it to a subject that audiences will understand on a commercial level, a very ambiguous message. I don't think it is Bush that is being compared, but the Bassplayer to Bush and Hitler. Just my humble two cents. hahaha wtf? everyone thinks every song is about him. Jesus christ. pretty much the whole CD is political.
